Read MoreScott Wallace grew up in the mountains of southwest Virginia, hiking the same trails Thomas Jefferson once hiked. His love of nature and UVA is rooted in his early life on those trails, and provided the notion that the right inspiration and words can have a far reaching impact on society.
He and Sarah currently live in Charlotte, NC, where he continues to hike with his beloved dog, Toby and support UVA athletics. Scott was formerly a writer for a sports blog called Sports Almighty, where he interviewed athletes such as Russell Wilson, Colin Kaepernick, and NFL Hall of Famer Barry Sanders.
Scott is a graduate of Liberty University with a degree in business, a minor in religion. The Outermost is his first novel.
Hollywood created a narrative of alien life as green creatures of evil intent. Who is to say? If they do exist, what if they are much like us, searching, hoping, looking for meaning, light, in a universe of darkness.
Dr. Thomas D. McClure, a Harvard professor of linguistics, receives an unusual request from the government, specifically, NASA, about taking a sabbatical from teaching and undertaking a designated top-secret assignment.
Robuku Makolu, aka Robby McKoy, native to an insignificant South Pacific island and director of Remote Island Ministries, is in San Francisco, CA, for an international conference, when he is contacted unexpectedly by a clairvoyant childhood friend he hasn’t seen in nearly forty years.
In a matter of days, Robby is drawn into a top-secret assignment placing his people and their way of life in jeopardy. The discovery of two alien gadgets, a break-in at NASA’s Ames Research Center, and a CIA investigation, force Robby into a world far beyond Earth that orbits in the crosshairs of the U.S. government where Tom convinces Robby nothing is as it seems.
Is Tom a sociopathic manipulator or does he have the voice of the government’s secret exoplanet buried within him? This psychological thriller with sci-fi elements will cause us to wrestle with how much of life is beyond what we can see.
Baron Collins Publishing is excited to introduce this mystery thriller that appeals to a wide variety of audiences.
Whether you’re looking for an adrenaline laced thriller, or a breezy island read, a connection to other worldly life, or, a look into the past, The Outermost is an authentic read, that will both inspire and entertain.
